Tiger Hill means a very early start
Tiger Hill, Darjeeling, West Bengal
Published Oct 10, 2026 · RegretMap travel note
The situation
Sunrise jeeps to Tiger Hill leave town in the dark, and the viewpoint is crowded and cold while you wait. Whether the peaks appear depends entirely on the clouds that morning.
The lesson
Dress warmly, accept the gamble, and keep a second morning free if you can.
