WeatherTravel note
The lakes depend on the monsoon
Lake Pichola, Udaipur, Rajasthan
Published Oct 10, 2026 · RegretMap travel note
The situation
How full Pichola and Fateh Sagar look depends on the previous monsoon. After a weak year, boat routes can be shorter and some ghats sit well above the water.
The lesson
Don't build a trip only around lake photos from a good year.
