PlanningTravel note
Festival week fills every homestay
Ziro festival grounds, Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh
Published Oct 10, 2026 · RegretMap travel note
The situation
When the Ziro Festival of Music is on in autumn, the valley's homestays and campsites book out. Outside festival dates the valley is quiet and easy to find a room in.
The lesson
Book months ahead for festival dates, or come another week.
